Combined metal detection and checkweighing system for food processing.

This Mettler-Toledo Garvens CM 3570 DMS combines metal detection and checkweighing in a single unit. Products first pass through the metal detector, fitted with the familiar Profile system, before being weighed on the conveyor belt, with the weighing unit rated for a maximum of 750 grams at an accuracy of 0.1 gram. Products rejected for metal contamination or incorrect weight are automatically removed from the line. Operation runs through the colour touchscreen control panel on the housing, with adjustable product profiles for quick changeovers between items. The machine was built in 2016 and is finished in stainless steel with a clear plastic guard around the conveyor belt.
