This Sliver Remover SR2 was built by Marcelissen from Belfeld, a manufacturer that has supplied equipment for processing potatoes, carrots and other root vegetables for decades. The machine is designed to grade out slivers and undersized pieces from potatoes or other root vegetables using rollers that separate the thin pieces from the accepted product. It is finished in stainless steel, and the control cabinet houses components from ABB and Eaton. The unit dates from 2015 and originates from a food processing line.
