Metal detector with conveyor and reject bin

This Goring Kerr metal detector (later part of Thermo) checks products for metal particles as they pass through the detector head on the belt. Products found to contain metal are rejected from the belt into the stainless steel reject bin.

Belt and detector share a frame on castors, with their own control box for start, stop and emergency stop. We have not been able to confirm the model or year of manufacture.
